Bereits vor 1000 v. Chr. wird die feine Wolle aus dem Unterfell der Kaschmirziege gewonnen und zu luxuri\u00f6sen Cashmeretextilien verwebt.
\nAus jedem Tier k\u00f6nnen nur ca. 150 g w\u00e4hrend des Haarwechsels im Fr\u00fchling ausgek\u00e4mmt werden. Diese werden dann sortiert nach der Haarl\u00e4nge und nur das feinste Unterhaar ergibt die beste Qualit\u00e4t. Die Wolle hat ein sehr geringes Eigengewicht und h\u00e4lt sehr warm.
\nJe feiner die Wolle umso teurer und kostbarer das Endprodukt.
